Not much was still open at the end of September – but the Boardwalk was. The staff were friendly and welcoming and always ready to chat and talk about the town and surroundings. They have several menu items available, coffee is always ready, as is the ice cream. They also sell clothing and souvenirs. They will be closed for the winter after Thanksgiving.
We have been going here for years. I know there are other places to get ice cream in Wasagaming with shorter line ups but the Boardwalk has the best selection of soft serves and hard serve ice creams. I have had the dip comes at other places both at the lake and at home but the Boardwalk dip really is that much better. Every time we go to another place I am disappointed.
One of the first things that I notice any store or restaurant that I visit is the service and body language of the staff. The girls behind the counter were awesome – super friendly, great moods, very polite (even when it took me a while to decide which flavour of ice cream to have!). The icecream was really delicious and I loved the Adirondack chairs all lined up out front for customers to sit on while watching the boats in the lake!

I have heard there pizza is tasty
This place has the best choices for ice cream and their hot food is pretty good as well. I always enjoy getting a smokie here for a quick lunch and my wife likes getting a butterscotch dipped cone which is a bit harder to find in other places. Always a good stop.
